you know what they say " death of an old man is the burning of a library". Death of this building is not just the ending of possible architectural details, local social history or now-overlooked better life style , but reducing history to a chronicle of wars and statistics. it's a pity.
indeed a society loosing its own civil history is putting themselves (and most importantly their offspring) to the endangerment of fundemalism.
